Layne: The Director of Ignorance

The SGFC High Council has just appointed Layne as the official SGFC Director of Ignorance. It is the director of ignorance’s responsibility to be anti-science and anti-reason, and may appear to hold such irrational views like Phil Collins being anything less than a supreme musician or failing to recognize that Dota 2 is a MOBA. It is in your best interest that you ignore these absurdities.

This has been a message from the SGFC Director of Multimedia Skunk.

Authorized by the SGFC High Council.

SGFC Presents: SGFC Hustlercore: The Official SGFC Hustling Album

Once in a generation there comes a musical event so influential and inspirational it joins the halls of history as an iconic masterpiece symbolic of it’s period. Today, as the SGFCMoM Director of Multimedia, I am pleased to announce the latest in this tradition of landmark albums to be considered amongst the unsurpassed mastery of Phil Collins’ No Jacket Required, and comparable to the genre-saving genius of Blink 182’s Enema of the State.

On behalf of the SGFC, the SGFCMoM presents: SGFC Hustlercore – The Official SGFC Hustling Album

SGFC Hustlercore

This album – the SGFC’s first – was compiled by the top university-recognized multimedia experts of the SGFCMoM. Some have claimed our impeccable taste in music, and so our appreciation for Phil Collins, is what sets the SGFC apart. Others have claimed it is our remarkably patrician tastes in film that define us. There is one universal truth invariably agreed upon by all, however. The SGFC is a community of hustlers, and now, we present an album of all the quintessential songs to listen to whilst hustling plebs.

You may find your copy here.

Hustle well, my friends, but  remember:

It’s not about your hustling skill…

….It’s in the way that you use it.

Official SGFC Top 5 Guitar Solos

The guitar solo is a practice with an almost mythical association within the genres of rock and pop. It is a valuable asset to the skilled musician – an opportunity to run away with the melody and transform it into a powerful statement of self expression and emotional tension at the song’s climax.

At the SGFC we have made it our business to recognize the very best in musical excellence. A good solo can make or break the soul of a song, and that is why we at the SGFC have prepared a list of the greatest 5 guitar solos ever performed.

5. Easy Lover – Phil Collins & Philip Bailey

4.  Stairway to Heaven – Led Zepplin

3. Beat It – Michael Jackson

2.  All Along the Watchtower – Jimi Hendrix

1. It’s in the Way That You Use It – Eric Clapton
